I earned my B.S. in Health Promotion and Wellness from East Carolina University and went on to teach health, science, and nutrition classes. Wanting to advance in my field, I became a Registered Nurse through the Presbyterian School of Nursing. For over two decades, I’ve worked in a wide range of medical and community settings, both locally and nationally. My experience includes hospitals, homeless shelters, community colleges, urgent care and cancer centers, as well as clinics specializing in diabetes, thyroid issues, pain management, substance abuse, and mental health. For more than ten years, I’ve provided health consultations, dietary guidance, exercise plans, nutrition classes, and wellness seminars. Through these combined services, I believe people can gain the tools they need to make healthier lifestyle choices.
Inspired by my interactions with people and my love for learning, I decided to explore preventive health more deeply. I earned my ND/NMD (Doctor of Natural Medicine) from Trinity School of Natural Health and am Board Certified with the Naturopathic Medical Association. I’m also a Certified Basic Life Support Instructor and Certified Natural Health Provider. I guide others in disease prevention and holistic wellness, emphasizing nutrition, exercise, weight, and stress management without medications. My approach combines natural supplements, tailored dietary plans, exercise guidance, and noninvasive diagnostic methods such as health assessments and lab analyses.
